A Letter [excerpt]
The newly elected president of the society [American Roentgen Ray Society] is one of its most enthusiatic workers. Dr. Girdwood cut short his European trip to be present at the Buffalo meeting. When asked to give expression concerning the treatment of Mr. McKinley, by newspaper reporters, he instantly replied: “See the doctors in the case. I am not in the gossip [975][976] business.”
