Notes and Comments [excerpt]
The Remuneration of President McKinley’s Physicians.—It is a matter much to be regretted that the question of the physicians’ fees in the case of President McKinley should have been the subject of undignified discussion in the newspapers. The financial aspect of the case should not be ignored, but it should be considered by those properly authorized to do so in a way befitting the dignity of the American people and the question at issue.
