PRESIDENT McKINLEY’S CONDITION. AT THE TIME OF GOING TO PRESS WE ARE DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO STATE THAT THE CONDITION OF THE PRESIDENT IS INDICATIVE OF HIS RECOVERY. THE SURGICAL ASPECT OF THE CASE CALLS FOR THE GREATEST PRAISE FOR THE PROMPTNESS AND EFFICIENCY WITH WHICH MODERN SURGICAL ART WAS PUT INTO PRACTICE. PROMINENT SURGEONS ARE ALMOST UNANIMOUS IN DECLARING THAT THE PROMPTNESS WITH WHICH THE ABDOMEN WAS OPENED, AND THE RIGID ASEPSIS WHICH WAS OBSERVED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PRESIDENT’S CONVALESCENCE.
