Five Thousand Citizens Meet at the Auditorium.
Chattanooga, Tenn., September 15.—A
mass meeting of 5,000 citizens was held in the auditorium here today to pay
tribute to the memory of President McKinley. The addresses strongly condemned
anarchy and demanded enactment of stringent laws on the subject.
A committee of five was appointed to attend the
president’s funeral.
