THE WORLD WEEPS AND COLUMBIA BOWS HER HEAD IN SORROW.
The recent attack upon the life
of President McKinley is a matter of grave concern not to the United States
alone, but to the nations of the entire world. Millions of hearts go out in
sympathy to those distressed and especially to that one whose heart is nearest
to the victim of the assassin.
And there is one other of whom we would speak—that
one with murder in his heart. Acting under the impulse of a diseased mind, today
he is condemned by all the earth. When those unrighteous thoughts began to occupy
his mind he should have sought immediate relief. Disease makes a strong imprint
upon the mind in proportion to that upon the body. If not correct in all particulars
do not wait until disease has spent its wrath and wrecked your life and your
soul, but consult those who are acquainted with disease in mind and body. National
Specialists, Fourth and Main streets.
