The Sunday “Commercial”
The appearance of the Buffalo Commercial on a Sunday afternoon, in complete form, is an unprecedented event but an innovation in its life-long practice warranted by the exceptional gravity of the crisis. The life of a beloved President is in the balance and the world is awaiting with painful suspense the developments of each hour in the day. Under the circumstances, in justice to its patrons, the Commercial could not suspend publication as usual over Sunday.
