G. A. R. Services in the Temple of Music

 

COMRADES WILL GATHER IN THE BUILDING IN WHICH
THE PRESIDENT WAS SHOT

     Charles A. Orr, department commander of the G. A. R. of this State, has arranged for memorial services to be held by the G. A. R. on Tuesday in the Temple of Music at the Exposition grounds. Distinguished speakers will deliver addresses.
     In his notice to comrades, Commander Orr says:
     “Comrades of the Grand Army of the Republic residing in Buffalo are requested to be present at the Temple of Music on the Pan-American Exposition grounds tomorrow, Tuesday, September 17th, 1901, Grand Army and Antietam Day, at 2 o’clock p. m., with uniform and white gloves, to attend memorial services in honor of our late President and comrade, William McKinley.”
