Emma Goldman’s article published on Thursday in the organ of the Chicago Anarchists was a violent attack on our Government, a justification of assassination, and a glorification of assassins. The law which Congress will pass at its next session will make such a publication an indictable offense. To incite to murder is against the welfare and the safety of the Nation. Less than a month after the assassination of President McKinley the crime is gloried in by the person from whom the assassin received the inspiration to murder the President. It is monstrous.
