Postal Cards Changed
The officials of the postal department in Washington have recently had made several changes in the printed matter and arrangement of it on the sides of postal cards for addresses. The postal cards formerly sold by the government had a shield of the United States appearing in the upper left-hand corner, while McKinley’s picture was on the printed stamp. The face of McKinley did not show very clearly on the old cards because of heavy shading, but the new cards show his face very plainly. The shield is left off the new cards. The changes make a much neater and plainer card than was had in the cards heretofore used.
