Town Topics [excerpt]
Mrs. R. E. Toomey has just returned from Buffalo, N. Y., where she spent ten days sight-seeing. She brought home with her, many souvenirs of the Exposition, among which was a photograph of Mr. James B. Parkes, who throttled the assailant of President McKinley. She will be glad to supply her friends with a picture and may be induced to give a lecture telling of the Exposition and of the “Rainbow City.”
