Dr. G. R. Andreas, of Wilkes-Barre was a witness to the shooting of President McKinley at Buffalo on Friday. He stood only a few feet distant when the shots were fired. He says that the assassin just before he grasped the hand of the President, wiped his brow with the handkerchief which concealed the weapon presumably to avert suspicion.
