It appears that while the sanctimonious money-worshiping tribe of New York were shedding crocodile tears over President McKinley’s fate, they were using the horrible event to work the money market for all that could be made out of it. Also it is said that physicians were influenced to give out false statements concerning the President’s situation before the final collapse, which were used to tone the money market.
