Delusion of an Insane Farmer

PEORIA, Ill., Sept. 9.—William Nieman, an insane farmer, who had been under a delusion that the people were trying to lynch him for the murder of President McKinley, died raving like a maniac in the county jail to-day. He was picked up on the street Saturday fleeing from an imaginary mob. His condition is said to have been due to drink.
