President M’Kinley Shot!
Buffalo, N. Y., Sept. 7,—(Special)—An
assassin fired two shots into President McKinley’s body this afternoon. Accompanied
by a distinguished party the president had viewed Niagara Falls this afternoon
and was to hold a reception at the Temple of Music, Exposition.
Both wounds are serious.
An unknown crazy man did the shooting.
As we go to press President McKinley is reported
dead.
