Officials of Many Nations Send Us Expressions of Regret.

Buffalo, Sept. 8.—Messages of condolence with the government of the United States and with the family and friends of President McKinley were received to-day from the rulers of various countries. Among others, regrets at the dastardly attempt on the life of our chief executive and hopes that his life will be spared to the nation and to his family, have been received from Argentina, Uraguay [sic], Peru, England, Spain, Belgium, Bavaria, and from distinguished persons in various parts of the world.
