The affection of the American public for their president has been covered only by the thin skin of convention. An injury to his person has revealed in every one admiration for his personal gentleness and manhood.
Anarchy is a disease; why is not the law justified in stamping it out as it does anthrax, smallpox, tuberculosis, yellow jack or any other dangerous disease?
