Presidential Salaries
Washington, September 30.—Warrants were drawn
at the treasury department to-day in settlement of the salary due the late President
at the time of his death. The amount was $1,856.88.
Warrants also were drawn covering Mr Roosevelt’s
salary to October 1, or seventeen days, and aggregating $2,309.78.
