While the American people are stanping [sic] out anarchy it might be a good time to stamp out forever such kind of yellow journalism that incites mob violence, that encourages class hatred, that besmirches the character of every man hostile to the wishes and advices of the yellow press. Such newspapers are disseminaters [sic] of falsehood and feed the minds of the more ignorant classes with a venomous hatred for all classes of office seekers and office holders, and an unwholesome disrespect for our law makers [sic] and for judge and jury, until their readers are taught to believe that most any sort of newspaper talk goes as gospel truth and that the country and everything in it except the lying editors and their defamatory and inflamatory [sic] sheets are going to perdition. There are a few editors of daily papers in this country who are not very far from being out and out anarchists. No one would find fault with their utterances if they but told the truth. But they don’t tell the truth.
