     Since there has been so much talk of Roosevelt as “our young President” one of those men who delight in snubbing public opinion has published the records to show that Roosevelt is a year older than the Emperor of Germany, twelve years older than the Czar of Russia, ten years older than the King of Italy, twenty-two years older than the Queen of the Netherlands and twenty-eight years older than the King of Spain. In fact, about the only way we can make a youthful showing for our President is to compare him with the Pope.
