The public school is the best bulwark against anarchy. Education is the correct cure for the mental disorders that trouble our people. This nation cannot afford to relax for one hour its efforts at fitting for citizenship the flood of immigration. Too large a percentage of our population is foreign born for the safety of the country. They are turned into voters too readily and their children reach the age of responsibility with too little education.
