Gable (B.S., M.A., M.L.S.) is a professional
librarian and independent scholar. Prior to embarking on the
MAI project, he busied himself as an American literature
scholar specializing in the Harlem Renaissance. During that
period he edited a biannual online newsletter and research resource
(2000-05), edited a short story anthology (Indiana UP, 2004),
and published articles and bibliographies. Currently Gable confines
his research energies to editing this website.

Huthmacher (B.A., M.L.S), a native Buffalonian,
is a former educator who currently works as a librarian for
a major law firm. Her lifelong interest in the Pan American
Exposition began at age five when her parents took her to the
Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society, where she was entranced
by a large wall mural depicting three women strolling by the
exposition’s Electric Tower. Her enthusiasm for the Pan American
Exposition is only exceeded by her passion for Theodore Roosevelt
and unbridled devotion to her cat, Anastasia.
