Notes
THE unusual appearance and difficult pronunciation of “Czolgosz” has caused an enforced use of the word “assassin,” with the incidental advantage of increasing the phonographic vocabulary and orthographical knowledge of stenographers. Vogue, or fashion, in language, as in dress and manners, occurs frequently.
