     IN this number we publish portraits of “Our Three Martyr Presidents,” Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield and William McKinley.
     Never has the whole civilized world expressed more sincere sorrow than has been caused by the assassination and death of President McKinley. Tender in the home, wise in council, clean in political life, able in statesmanship, a noble Christian man, to the young men of this generation his life should prove a most powerful incentive to the attainment of the truest manhood.

     PAGES ii and iii contain the announcement of new pictures published. This list will be found rich in geographical material and in views of natural scenery.
     There are several new subjects in the Perry Pictures, Extra Size, including excellent portraits of the late President McKinley, President Roosevelt, and many art subjects including the popular “Sir Galahad.” There is also a list of Indian portraits in colors that are most interesting.
