Free Society inquires why The Truth Seeker is silent over the torturing of Czolgosz in order to obtain a confession. We never heard that Czolgosz was tortured for that purpose or any other, and, with deference to Mr. Isaak, we do not believe that torture was applied. The editor of Free Society, having no means of knowing the fact, could only surmise that which he states with apparent confidence.
