The Vice-Presidential Candidates [excerpt]
The importance of having a broad and liberal man as vice-president of the country has been emphasized by the tragic death of William McKinley at Buffalo. Fortunately for the country a man was vice-president at the time who had in him the material out of which great presidents are made.
