Storer Feared Heart Trouble
Chicago, September 13—Dr. W. D.
Storer of this city, who was present at the time the operation upon the President
was performed at Buffalo, said to-day:
“I have maintained all the time that the pulse
was altogether too rapid—that it was out of proportion to the temperature—and
I feared that something would go wrong with the heart. That was a symptom I
did not like, and I am afraid it will carry him off.”
