He of the unpronounceable name—the would be assassin of President McKinley, is the son of a saloon keeper and received his training in a low down whisky dive. He is the product of the saloon. Not an unnatural product, either. The boy who from his earliest infancy has been used to ribald oaths, and by the precept and example of his father and his father’s chums is taught to disobey all law and hate law makers, naturally enough grows to be an anarchist in faith and a murderer at heart. The way to rid this country of their dangerous presence, is to stop their breeding places. If there were no saloons, there would be no anarchists.
