” J C , in his charge from the Bench to the Franklin County Grand Jury, said that many prayers went up in Kentucky for the death of G , and that there were but few appeals from the pulpit and but few prayers were made that W G might be spared;—while thousands of people had been praying for the recovery of the President. It begins to look very much like Mr. C ’ next outbreak will be directed at the L for answering the prayers of which he complains.
