“J” J C, in his charge from the Bench to the Franklin County Grand Jury, said that many prayers went up in Kentucky for the death of G, and that there were but few appeals from the pulpit and but few prayers were made that W G might be spared;—while thousands of people had been praying for the recovery of the President. It begins to look very much like Mr. C’ next outbreak will be directed at the L for answering the prayers of which he complains.
