Joseph Czolgosz; Czolgosz family; Leon Czolgosz.
Named persons
William McKinley; William Howard Taft.

The action at Los Angeles of a brother of the assassin of President McKinley invites sympathy and respect. Knowing that on account of his name he would be shadowed by the police during the stay of President Taft in town, he went to headquarters voluntarily and put himself under the eyes of the authorities. The step was that of a man of good judgment and self-respect, and goes to support the assertion made by the family at the time of the Buffalo tragedy, that the son who had made himself infamous was the victim of outside evil associations.
