Michael Czolgosz, brother of the assassin of
President McKinley, applied for a place on the police force of Cleveland saying
he wished to clear the stain from the family name.
The only way to clear the stain is to blot it
out—shoot the whole family—about the time one of them attempts to shake hands
with some one is the time to do the shooting.
