Indian River Ripples [excerpt]
The sad news of President McKinley’s death reached us Saturday morning. What a pity those miserable anarchists can’t be bunched up and sent to Devil’s island [sic], where the poor French officer suffered so. We were glad to know that they have that she devil Goldman. It would serve her and her clique right to be taken there and tortured by hunger, thirst and imprisonment. Why hasn’t the United States such place for such evildoers.
