Driven Insane
Colmesneil, Texas, September 14.—Mr. Hiram Marshall, a farmer living near Colmesneil, upon hearing of the attempted assassination of President McKinley, became insane. He imagines he hears guns and cannon all the time and that he is trying to kill some one or is about to be killed by some one. He allows no one to speak above a whisper after first greeting him.
