State News [excerpt]
A story comes from Salisbury that one of the loyal and patriotic citizens of that town a few nights ago, after closing his eyes in slumber, had the unpleasant experience to dream of the attempted assassination of President McKinley, and in the course of the dream met Leon Czolgosz, the anarchist, whom he dealt a terrific blow. Upon awakening he found that in reality he had dealt a blow at his wife’s face with damaging results.
