Fred Ellis Answered the Ambulance Call
Mr. Fred Ellis of this city, a grandson
of John Maloney, proprietor of the Harvey House ,and [sic] who is connected
with the hospital corps of the Pan-American Exposition, was one of the men who
attended the President after he was shot yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Ellis is a student at the Buffalo University
of Medicine and has been connected with the hospital corps since the opening
of the Exposition. He was on the ambulance which answered the call when the
Pres[i]dent was shot and he gave assistance during the operations on the President.
