To Suppress Anarchism

Austin, Tex., September 10.—The lower house of the Texas Legislature to-day adopted a resolution extending to President and Mrs. McKinley the deepest sympathy of the people of Texas in their affliction. The resolution was telegraphed to Private Secretary Cortelyou at Buffalo.
A special commission has reported a resolution to the House recommending that all States in the union enact and enforce the most stringent laws with a view to the complete suppression of anarchism in this country. The national Congress is petitioned to enact such additional immigration laws as will prevent the landing in this country of the criminal elements of other nations.
