Notes
Copyright ownership for the photograph is credited to a resident of Philadelphia, PA. The poor visual quality of the scanned original, however, makes it impossible to satisfactorily determine what the person’s name is (possibly either H. M. or H. H. Sherrett). The same photograph appears in the 7 Sept. 1901 issue of Buffalo Courier, wherein copyright is credited to H. H. Skerrett.

Caption reads in full: “Leon Czolgosz (Indicated by Arrow) Being Taken from the Temple of Music—After Shooting the President.”
