Secretary Hay Arrives
Buffalo, Sept. 10.—Secretary Hay arrived in Buffalo early this morning, and took an automobile to the Milburn house. He walked up from the corner toward the house, when he was met by one of the Secret Service men. He asked if the people were up yet, and, being told that nobody had risen, he decided not to ask admission. The early morning bulletin was shown to him, and he said: “Good! The country will rejoice.” He went to the Buffalo Club, and returned to the house later.
