The descriptive text accompanying the caption reads as follows: “The
assassin will be closely guarded in the space marked F, though the chair
A may be occupied by him should his counsel, who will sit in chairs marked
B, desire to consult him. The attorneys for the prosecution will sit at
C and D; Judge White at E; the jurors in the inclosure [sic] marked G.
Ordinary prisoners would be confined within the railing designated by
the letter H.”
