Ticks from the Wire [excerpt]
PHILADELPHIA — James Parker, colored, the man who tried to save President McKinley from the Assassin Czolgosz, was arrested for vagrancy in West Philadelphia and was sent to the hospital for the insane. When he was released at Atlantic City last week he was furnished with money to return to his home in Georgia.
