Jim Parker Will Lecture

He Was Nearby When the Late President McKinley Was Shot.

James B. Parker, the colored man who was reported as the first to seize the assassin Czolgosz, after he shot President McKinley, will lecture tomorrow night at Ford’s Opera House and tell his version of the affair. Parker resided in this city some years ago, and is well remembered by many of the colored citizens. He was at one time a constable in the Fourth district. The colored people will be out in large numbers to hear what he has to say about the part he took in the Buffalo tragedy.
