Theodore Roosevelt has his future very largely in his own hands. He was practically forced to take the vice-presidency and now in the providence of God he becomes president without the consent or assistance of Senator Platt or any other many who might have an interest in hindering his upward progress. Those who know Mr. Roosevelt best have the most entire confidence in his judgement and devotion.
