     On motion of Judge Wilson, the following resolution was adopted:
     The judges of the Circuit Courts of Ohio in Annual Convention assembled, under the cloud of our great national bereavement:
     Resolved: That out of respect to our martyred President, the Circuit Courts of the state be adjourned until Friday, the 20th of September.
     Resolved: That the Judges of this court assemble in Canton on the morning of Thursday, the 19th inst., and attend the funeral of President McKinley in a body.
     Resolved: That we extend our profound sympathy to Mrs. McKinley.
     Resolved: That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of the respective Circuit Courts of the state.
     Under the instructions of the judges of the Circuit Court, Chief Justice Douglass sent the following telegram to the family of the late President McKinley:

     “Abner McKinley, Esq.

“Canton, O.     

     “The Judges of the Circuit Courts of Ohio, assembled in annual meeting, send their sincere and heartfelt sympathy to the widow and relations of our lamented and beloved President Wm. McKinley in this hour of their great bereavement and the bereavement of the entire American people.

“S. M. Douglass,          
Chief Justice.”

     “U. L. Marvin,
          Secretary.”
