College Notes [excerpt]

On Thursday, September 19, the college, as a part of the great American people, paid its tribute to the memory of President McKinley. College work was suspended for the day, and chapel was held at nine, instead of at eight-thirty as usual. President Woolley made a short, impressive address and the choir, under the direction of Professor Hammond, rendered special music. In the afternoon the college joined with the townspeople in the service at the church, at which President Woolley also spoke.
