London’s Comment
N
Y , Oct. 30.—Some of this morning’s papers refer editorially to the execution of Czolgosz, says the Tribune’s London correspondent. They congratulate the American people on the steady and consistent course that justice has taken in the assassin’s case and on the utter absence of sensationalism which has marked its close. The Morning Post considers that the assassin himself provided the true explanation of his crime when he expressed a desire to make a statement where there were lots of people. A morbid desire for notoriety is half the secret of Anarchism, says that paper.
