Editorial Notes [excerpt]
A Russian familiar with the name Czolgosz, says
it is pronounced as spelled “Zolgus.” This information is something of a relief
to the American people.
After five years of the most bitter and uncalled
for vituperation against President McKinley by some of the democratic [sic]
papers, the self same [sic] papers now want to appear at the head of the procession
as chief mourners over his death.
