News of the Shooting of the President Moved the Brave Scout to Tears.
When Col. Cody (Buffalo Bill) heard of the shooting of President McKinley yesterday afternoon the brave but tender-hearted warrior cried like a child. He immediately adjourned his show. The big chief of the Indians gave a talk to the red men present in which he told of the attack on the “Great Father,” and manifestations of grief and regret were seen on every side.
