Hanged in Effigy
Czolgosz and Emma Goldman Hanged in Counterfeit by Mobs.
Chicago, Sept. 16.—The effigy of Czolgosz was
set on fire to-night and hanged to an electric light pole at State and Madison
streets, one of the busiest corners in Chicago. A large crowd shouted its approval
of the demonstration and demanded similar treatment for Emma Goldman.
Baltimore, Sept. 16.—Emma Goldman, the anarchist,
was hanged in effigy late to-night from a telegraph pole here.
