Overheard a Plot

 

To Hypnotize Czolgoz, and Eventually Landed in Jail.

     Milwaukee, Wis., September 23.—Edward Hobart has been arrested at Juneau, Wis., charged with having mailed an obscene letter.
Te saysc [sic] that while he was staying at a hotel in Waterloo, Wis., he overheard two men who occupied the room next to him reciting the manner in which they hypnotized Czolgoz, who assassinated President McKinley, and compelled him to commit the deed. He says he wrote letters to the police, but they failed to act and he wrote the missive which causer [sic] his arrest.
