A Yale Man
Ansley Wilcox, a Buffalo lawyer, at whose house
President Roosevelt was, is a member of one of the best known and aristocratic
families of that city.
Mr. Wilcox was graduated from Yale with the class
of 1874, and during his college career played on the baseball team. While Mr.
Roosevelt was governor of New York Mr. Wilcox maintained a close relationship
with him, and will probably be a prominent factor in President Roosevelt’s administration.
Curiously enough Mr. Wilcox was at one time the close friend of ex-President
Cleveland.
