Mason at the White House
[excerpt]

James B. Parker, the Atlanta negro who achieved prominence at the time of the assassination of President McKinley by claiming to have assaulted Czolgosz, was among the callers at the White House this morning. He was accompanied by E. E. Cooper, of this city, and H. S. Cummings, of Baltimore. Mr. Roosevelt received the party cordially.
